This is the new record from Kilkenny Ireland’s Nathan Conway and his River Valley Band. It’s not the sort of thing that normally gains exposure on the blog yet one can equally imagine enjoying him live performing in a village pub setting, with a pint of quality Guinness in hand and someone to love nearby.

There’s a nice sing-along feel to it all, wether it be the slower, pensive numbers (Lord I Got it Bad) or the more swinging, jigging ones (Where’s the Love in My Heart). One assumes he listens to some Roy Orbison in his spare time among others . Nothing wrong with that of course.
